2024 Fall Session Kids Classes
If your child has attended one of our art sessions before don’t worry! We will be covering new artists, learning new art techniques and doing new projects!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*We have added multiple class options this session. Below you will find a brief description of each class. Click on the button below the description for more information and to register for the session.
*All sessions include 12 weekly classes that go September through December. Classes are 1.5 hours (45 minutes for 3-5 year olds).
*Our Art Gallery for all classes will be December 9 5:30-8:00. More information about the art gallery will be sent home the first week of class.
*There will be no classes held the week of October 14 for Fall Break or the week of November 25 for Thanksgiving Break.
*You can sign up for multiple classes if you’d like (i.e. General Art AND Drawing, etc.). All projects in each type of session will be different.
**We believe in teaching art in a creative environment where kids not only learn art techniques, but are given the chance to be creative and create their own masterpieces. We do this by reserving the first part of the class to teaching and practicing various techniques and skills and the second part of the class for kids to use these techniques and skills in combination with their own creativity to create their own unique art project.
General Art Session (Ages 3 & up)
Our General Art Session is a great class for children who love all types of art and want to explore a variety of mediums while also learning skills and techniques that can be used across multiple art mediums. Our general art session will cover various art mediums such as acrylic paint, watercolor paint, oil pastels, chalk pastels, clay, drawing, and more! We also have occasional “Artist Inspiration” days where we learn about an artist and do an art project inspired by their art.

*5-8 year olds-Wednesdays 4:00-5:30 OR Thursdays 4:00-5:30
*9 years old and older-Tuesdays 4:00-5:30 OR Wednesdays 6:00-7:30
*Homeschool (All Ages)-Tuesdays: 1:00-2:30

Drawing Session (Ages 8 and up)
Our Drawing Session is a great class for children who want to learn skills and techniques specific to drawing. We will learn about sketching, shading, perspective, proportion and more. We will explore graphite, charcoal, pen, and markers.

Acrylic Paint Session (Ages 8 and up)
Our Acrylic Paint Session is a great class for children who want to learn skills and techniques specific to acrylic painting. We learn about mixing, blending, layering, and more. We will explore basic color theory and various tools that can be used with acrylic paint.

Watercolor Session (Ages 8 and up)
Our Watercolor Session is a great class for children who want to learn skills and techniques specific to watercolor painting and watercolor pencils. We will learn about water control, mixing, blending, layering and more. We will explore wet on dry and wet on wet techniques and various watercolor tools including watercolor pencils.

Clay Sculpting Session
Our Clay Sculpting Session is a great class for children who want to learn skills and techniques specific to clay and sculpting. We will learn about coils, slabs, and more. We will explore various clay tools and techniques. (NOTE: Unfortunately, we do not have a kiln so we will be using oven bake modeling clay for most of our projects.)
